The semi-final feeling for German club RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig beat Atletico Madrid in the quarter finals. With a goal less first half Leipzig had the 2-1 victory over Atletico. Leipzig reached into the UEFA Champions League semi-final for the first time. Leipzig meets Parisians in the semi-final which will be played on Tuesday.
RB Leipzig v Atletico Madrid was also a  dramatic game. Leipzig's  Dani Olmo scored the opening goal early in the second half. And very soon Madrid's young player Joao Felix found the net with a penalty goal after coming of the bench. The United States International Tyler Adams scored at the 88th minute and send Leipzig to the first Champions League semi-final. He also came off the bench in the second half. Getting the goal Leipzig midfielder Adams became the first US player to score in a Champions League quarter final. Dayat Upamecano heads away a dangerous cross inside his own six yard box and he was named the Man of the Match.

Dani Olmo scored the close-range header, the lead goal at the 50th minute from a right side cross from Marcel Sabitizer. He is the first Spaniard to score against Atletico Madrid in the Champions Leauge. Atletico pull out more effort after the substitution of Portugese forward Felix. He scored at the 71st minute which Atletico seems control over the match. All of a sudden Adams entered and he scored a low right-footed shot from a pass from the left side, it took the goalkeeper Jan Oblak out of action.

Simeone's Atletico Madrid tried a lot but they couldn't make it to the semi-final. They showed up an outstanding defensive display. The German club RB Leipzig which was not founded in the last 11 years created a historical moment in the Champions Leauge at the Estadio Jose Alvalade. They played according to their game plan and confidence. Even with the attacking tactics of Simeone's men Leipzig was unstoppable.
